Meet the PageWeather editorial desk.
We're a small team of climate-data enthusiasts based in London and Istanbul. Between us, roughly 12 years covering weather, travel, and data journalism — most of it spent shouting at travel articles that promised “perfect spring weather” without a single number to back it up.
Weather is our lens for travel planning. Not the seven-day forecast — that's someone else's job. What we care about is the eleven-year pattern: what does April in Paris usually look like? How reliable are July afternoons on Santorini? When exactly does the rain move out of Bali? Those are the questions the site exists to answer.
PageWeather isn't venture-backed and it doesn't run display ads. It's funded by the small commissions we earn when readers book a room through one of our links. That's the whole business model — which is also why we're unusually careful about what we publish.
Data first, then the verdict.
We start every destination page the same way: pull 11 complete years (2015–2025) of daily records from the Open-Meteo Archive, average them into monthly climatology, and only then write the verdict. If the numbers say Paris in April is a coin toss between soft sun and thirteen rainy days, we say that — even when it's not the headline a travel site would prefer.
Every page you read here follows the same shape: real numbers on top, plain-English verdict underneath, honest packing advice at the bottom. No listicles, no clickbait, no “top 10 hidden gems.” If you already knew Paris exists, you know why you're on this page.

We use tools to summarise data, but every published sentence has been read, edited, and signed off by a human on this desk.
