Every number on this site is traceable. We do not invent averages, we do not paraphrase forecasts, and we do not run climate simulations of our own. Below is exactly what we use and how.
Open-Meteo Archive API ↗
Historical weather data 2015 – 2024. Daily maximum and minimum temperature, precipitation totals, sunshine duration, resolved at the destination's coordinates. Averaged into monthly climatology.
GeoNames ↗
Geographic reference — coordinates, timezones, population figures. Used for identifying destinations and their location.
Wikipedia REST API ↗
Short destination summaries. We pull the lead paragraph as a neutral orientation for each city or region.
