When you click a “Compare hotels” button, we send you to Booking.com with a tracking ID attached. If you book a stay, Booking pays us a small percentage of their commission. The price you pay does not change.

When you click a “Shop packing essentials” button, we send you to Amazon with our associates tag. If you buy anything on Amazon within the next 24 hours, we earn a small commission.

We do not recommend products or hotels we haven't seen. We do not get paid to write anything. Our verdicts on months, our packing suggestions, our weather data — none of it is influenced by commercial partners. We'd rather be right than sponsored.
